Until recently, environmental impact was reduced by implementing controls in the production process itself, and changing them when necessary. However, European institutions such as the European Commission and the European Environment Agency is driving use of viable and internationally accepted methodologies to assess all environmental impacts covering all stages of a product's life: raw material procurement, production process, transport and distribution, use and maintenance, reuse and recycling and waste management.
REP - Energy Solutions provides environmental analysis services through the Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), which allow you to select materials (e.g. molten salts, steels, etc.) with less environmental impact, in the construction phase of an industrial plant.
